Sunday RE
Today was our first day of Sunday RE classes. We have wonderful teachers once again! I am so grateful that they have agreed to volunteer their time. If you are able to help as a substitute in your child's class please contact me by email or talk with your child's teacher. We are also looking for a few teacher assistants for the classes. Wednesday night students make make great assistants and earn a lot of service hours for Confirmation and school programs.
If you have not registered your children PLEASE, PLEASE do so before Sunday. The teachers are working very hard to get all their class work done in one hour and things run more smoothly if kids can just go to class without the class being disruptive. Thank you for your cooperation!

Youth Group and RE Pot Luck
Last night's pot luck dinner was filled with wonderful food and great fellowship. Thank you to all the families that participated. It is a wonderful thing to see families come together to laugh, talk and pray. This is the way to build a strong church community that will continue to grow as our children become adults. If you were not able to make it do not worry as we will have another pot luck in may.
The youth group support team met after the pot luck. We had several new parents come to the meeting. We discussed upcoming events that include our Confirmation retreat on October 3rd and the haunted house for the Fall Fun Fest. Teri Leister sent me this email below about the haunted house-
